The territory and microclimate

In the heart of the picturesque shores of Lake Garda, a often underestimated wine treasure lies hidden: Lugana. This elegant and charming white wine is primarily produced in the Italian regions of Lombardy and Veneto, with its epicenter located near the town of Sirmione. With its ancient history, Lugana has been a faithful companion to many generations of wine lovers, but it continues to win over new palates with its freshness and versatility.

Lugana is renowned for its predominantly made from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, a native variety that shines best in these lands. What truly sets it apart is the terroir that surrounds it, with the lake exerting a significant influence on the local climate.

This microclimate fosters the slow and even ripening of the grapes, imparting the wine with extraordinary aromatic complexity and pleasant acidity. The end result is a white wine with a fresh, floral, and fruity character, lending itself to a wide range of culinary pairings.

Lugana, often referred to as the “Italian Chablis” undoubtedly deserves a place of honor in your cellar.

You’ll find yourself immersed in a world of wine tradition and innovation. A sip of Lugana will take you on a sensory journey through picturesque landscapes and captivating food and wine cultures, making this wine an essential choice.

The secret of Lugana: harmony between tradition and modernity

In addition to its inseparable connection with the territory, Lugana owes much of its success to the perfect symbiosis between tradition and modernity.

The wineries in the region have embraced the most advanced winemaking techniques, allowing Lugana to maintain consistent quality over time. This wine, with its century-old history, is a living example of how the passion of producers can coexist with oenological innovation, creating a product that enchants the senses and satisfies the expectations of even the most discerning palates.

The Lugana label is not just a nod to tradition but also a sign of progress and openness to the future of the Italian wine world.
